TrueLearn alignment programs are unique, state-of-the-art learning experiences.

The programs help create new insights and understanding built as much upon the participants’ prior knowledge and experience, as upon the provided course information.
Here is a sampling of excercises in the
“Maximizing Performance through Business Acumen” program.
Exploring Your Business Goals

We provide an overview of the marketplace exploring competition, customers, end users and suppliers as relevant to help participants understand the realities of the marketplace.

Participants explore company business strategies and measures through a series of exercises designed to provide real world context for the challenges ahead.
Big Picture Understanding

We provide a Big Picture understanding of your business process. The process looks at the movement of resources through your operation. Participants will discover how each functional area interrelates and learn the key process touch points for which the business units are responsible. Metrics, terminology and hand-offs are explored as appropriate.

Participants also gain an understanding of how each functional area impacts costs.
Your Business in Practice

We will introduce more in-depth information about your business model focusing on your company's strategy. Participants go through simulated situations where they, through the decisions they make, impact business performance.

Success is measured using your performance measures.
Optional Exercises

- Key Financial Performance measures - what they are, why they are important and how they are calculated.

- Graphical representation of the Key Cash Drivers will be introduced in the context of why cash is important. The graphic makes it easier for participants to link the drivers of cash to opportunities at your company.

- Cost reduction / effectiveness concepts are explored in a way that makes it easy to understand and apply.

- Mini cases will be used to get participants to focus in on identifying and discussing factors that influence financial performance and will get participants to begin applying some of the concepts introduced earlier to their functional area.
Action Plan

To tie it all together, we ask participants to identify behavioral actions that will support Company Goals. Participants develop plans that link to corporate and divisional strategic goals.

Participants will be asked to apply this learning by identifying how they can make an impact in their daily roles.
