TrueLearn e-learning solutions allow participants to experience and identify behaviors and actions that parallel their skills in their real work life. The most important aspect of meaningful learning is knowledge sharing. Our GuideMaps promote dialog and knowledge sharing in a face to face setting. The main challenge is to transfer that experience to e-learning solutions where one person works alone on a computer. Our focus is to design strong learning experiences without sacrificing learning methodologies for technology. We make sure that knowledge is shared, even in asynchronous situations, through forums and discussion threads. Activities are interactive, and choices and answers demand explanation. Behaviors are simulated in real-life scenarios where different decisions lead to different outcomes that later are analyzed and commented upon. The design of the experience ensures that the learning points are achieved, and brings theory into reality, where it can be applied, evaluated and continuously built upon.
